Friday's Foe: Missouri faces the Houston Jaguars at MU's Hearnes Center.

The Jaguars have played Minnesota (L, 83-75), Iowa State (L, 84-72) and Kansas (W, 67-60). The Jaguars will face Kansas State tonight and UMKC Thursday before meeting Missouri.

Familiar Face: Former Tiger Amanda Lassiter is a member of the Houston Jaguars. Lassiter has scored 32 points and grabbed 27 rebounds in three games.

And the rest of the Jaguars: The Houston Jaguars are comprised of former Division I and II college athletes and several of the team members have either played or currently play professional basketball.

*Tasha Pointer was an All-American at Rutgers and was a fourth-round WNBA draft pick by the Portland Fire, but did not make the final roster.

*Former Texas A&M guard Brandy Jones finished her career ranked 10th on the school's career scoring list (1,039). Jones earned a tryout with the WNBA's Utah Starzz, but did not make the final roster.

*Four-year WNBA veteran Vanessa Nygaard plays for the Portland Fire after an All-American career at Stanford.

*Jamie Redd played in 58 games for the Seattle Storm over the last two seasons. She was a three-time, first-team all-Pac 10 selection for Washington, finishing her career as the school's all-time leading scorer (2,027).

*Rasheeda Clark, the 2000 West Coast Conference Player of the Year and two-time all-conference performer for Pepperdine, was a third-round WNBA selection by the Portland Fire but did not make the final roster.

*Denique Graves plays for the National Women's Basketball League's Atlanta Justice, was drafted by the WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs in 1997 after finishing among the top five career scorers (1,512) and rebounders (928) at Howard. She played two years in the WNBA.

*Anitra Davis was a two-time, first-team all-Southland Conference performer for Stephen F. Austin.

*Tanisha Johnson was a two-time all-league performer for Arkansas State, earning 1999 Sunbelt Conference Newcomer of the Year honors.

Last Time Out: Missouri downed Lincoln 87-41 on Nov. 2. Evan Unrau led the way with 21 points while Kerensa Barr and Natalie Bright added 19 and 14 points, respectively. MU used runs of eight-, nine- and 10 points to roll to a 43-19 lead at the half.
