UMBC Beats Down Stony Brook, 76-60
-Darryl Proctor scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Cavell Johnson came off the bench with 15 points Saturday to lift top-seeded Maryland-Baltimore County to a 76-60 victory over Stony Brook in the first quarterfinal game of the America East Tournament. Jay Greene, who joined Proctor on the All-Conference team announced Friday, had 12 assists and nine points to help the Retrievers (22-8) advance to Saturday's semifinal against the winner of the game between No. 4 Vermont and No. 5 and host Binghamton.
